Omar manages all climate tech investments at NorthX, bringing experience in energy investment management and late-stage venture capital. His background provides valuable insight into how established industries and emerging technologies can align for successful energy transition.

Before NorthX, Omar worked as an investment manager for an early-stage mining and energy fund and a late-stage venture capital growth equity fund managing a cumulative of +$400 M in AUM. He was also a co-founder of a recycled plastic pallet company that scaled sales to customers including Honda, Toyota, Berry Global Group, and Sunoco.  

He focuses on identifying opportunities where corporate partnerships and strategic investments can accelerate the commercialization of climate hard tech. Omar is particularly interested in understanding how companies will cooperate and invest in the clean energy transition.  Omar holds an MBA from the University of Oxford with a focus on energy and sustainability.
