Annually, the BCBusiness Women of the Year (WOTY) Awards recognize trailblazing women for their accomplishments—from business leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, community champions, game changers, diversity and including champions, and rising stars.
NorthX is thrilled to announce that President & CEO Sarah Goodman has been named a winner in the Community Builders category for her role in strengthening BC’s climate and cleantech community.
“This recognition reflects the impact being driven by our whole team and the entrepreneurs and builders we’re lucky enough to support. Climate tech in Canada is becoming more ambitious, more inclusive, and more collaborative. And that matters, because, at NorthX we like to say communities build companies. So to be recognized as a community builder, that means something to me and to all of us doing this work together,” she says.
Through funding opportunities like Canada’s first call for wildfire tech and our recent call for women in climate tech, events like CONVERGE and Web Summit Vancouver, site visits, partnerships, and more, NorthX is bringing people together and building community. building companies and in turn, companies build communities.
